The MAA got some nice publicity last week in the Des Moines area. Tally’s restaurant in Beaverdale (Des Moines). Their pastry chef, Nicole, created a Poached Pear Tartlet with aronia berries and an aronia reduction glaze that is currently on their menu. They got a 10 minute spot on KCCI Channel 8 in Des moines during the noon news last week and prepared this dessert. They emphasized their use of aronia from the Midwest Aronia Association and gave us some nice publicity. The aronia berries and glaze made a very attractive presentation.
